How do i style my hair like this [pic included] ?

first off do you have porous hair. cause that makes it easier. put mousse and gel on your dry hair. and with a blow dryer, dry most of your hair roughly. then get a wax or matte hair product apply it to your hands and twist strands of hair together. each piece. then using your blow dryer again dry each piece separately. do not use a nozzle on you blow dryer.
