Is intermediate is equivalent to 10+2 in india?

is intermediate is equivalent to 10+2 in India , if not then what is? i want to give SSC exam (12th slandered). i am facing problem to fill the form. please help me. there is 2 other option like certificate and diploma. which i have to mark? i ped higher secondary(10+2) from west Bengal board. but i don't know the name in all India basic of this exam.
