What is wrong with my pierced ear?

well i have had this piercing since i was little and now the right ear is hurting...it wants to close,but i dont want my piercing to close up.it kinda burns when i put in my stud(its a real white gold earing) and ive tried cleaning it with a anticeptic,but it doesnt work.the backside if my ear hurts the most and when ever i touch it or my hair gets stuck in my earing,it hurts.its not red,but the backside is dry.what do i do?and if i take my earing out for a couple of days,it'll close up.
